Delivery access follows the same logic as pickup. If the destination street cannot take a full-size carrier, agree on a nearby lot ahead of time rather than discovering the problem while the truck is idling in traffic.
Delivery mirrors pickup. The driver calls ahead, meets you at an agreed location, unloads the vehicle and walks it with you against the condition report created at the start. Only after that comparison is complete should the paperwork be signed.

Every legitimate shipment generates a bill of lading, the document that records the vehicle's condition at pickup and again at delivery. It is signed by both the driver and the customer at each end. Treat it as the single most important piece of paper in the process, because it is the reference point if any question about condition comes up later.
The equipment doing the work is more specialised than it looks from the road. Deck heights adjust hydraulically, tie-down points are rated for specific loads, and the order vehicles are loaded in is planned around drop sequence and axle weight. A driver cannot simply rearrange a load at a whim, which is why loading position is decided before the truck arrives.
Drivers operate under federal hours-of-service rules that cap daily driving time. That constraint is the honest reason no reputable company promises a delivery hour weeks in advance. A carrier who is legally required to rest cannot make up time, and a company that pretends otherwise is setting an expectation it cannot control.
